We all think that blazers are for the typical business woman or for interviews. Let me tell you, I’m not the typical business lady, probably because I’m a teacher. Y’all get the point, I don’t gravitate to blazers for my everyday wear. Work wear probably isn’t my nitch, but I can share a dang good teacher outfit. haha! I will say I have jumped on the white blazer trend this season.
Today, I’m sharing a trend that I have been loving. It’s different than my typical get up, but I think it’s darling! I usually start with my mood when I figure out my outfits or I will start with a single piece, then I will build from there. So for this look, I wanted to experiment with the white blazer. We all know blazers can look too business like. When we pair it with cute summery shorts, it changes the whole look. You could easily try a printed tank with this white blazer – instead of just going for the obvious: aka white. (which is what I did!) I paired this white blazer with a white silk like tank. This tank is my go-to because of the darling lace detailing. It adds a little bit more. Yes, you can wear a blazer with shorts, I think its super cute. I wanted to challenge you to try this look – I’ve been doing that a lot lately and it’s been fun.
Question: Could You wear this to work?
So I’m curious. For those of you who work in an office (business casual) environment, would you be able to wear this to work? I know you couldn’t wear the shorts, but what about denim jeans or leggings? But regardless of whether you can wear the pants, shoes and tank, you can DEFINITELY wear this blazer (such a great fit and under $80 with 40% off! It also comes in other prints.) I’m new to all this work wear looks, since I don’t lean towards this style typically.
