I find that making an effort to have fitness/workingouts a part of my weekly schedule leaves me more accountable with myself. I think of it a job, I can't miss going to work therefore, I can't miss my workout. I find when I look at going to the gym this way I don't miss my workouts.
With all my workouts I try my best to schedule them so I am prepared when I walk into the gym. Some of feel a lack of motivation after the New Year, so being prepared mentally and knowing what I am doing at the gym helps me be motivated to get it in!
Of all the different types of workouts I have tried, bootcamps or bootcamp styled workouts are hands down my favorite workouts. These types of workouts always fly by and are always leave me sweating a lot! I always get really competive when I am in a class setting. I'm not complaining because that makes me work harder! Some morning, my husband and I will wakeup early in the morning and do fasted cardio! Doing this is always a pain because of the early morning wake up call at 4:20am. I find when I wake up early to do some type of cardio gets my day going on the right foot!
On another note, lets talk about what I wear when I go to the gym! The right workout wear is a necessity when it comes to what I wear to the gym! I hate when I wear workout leggings that either are too tight around my waste and are bulging in my hips or even worse falling down! I tend to wear more workout crop leggings to the gym because shorts can be annoying at times- expect during Texas summers! I love wearing Lululemon, Athleta orLorna Jane athletic wear! These brands are top quality workout clothing brands. I lvoe these because they stay in place when working out, the never have a sweaty smell after washing them, and the fabrics are amazly soft. I can't stop braging about how amazing these incredible workout brands are, you just have to try them out for yourself!
