I have a thing for blue sweaters!! I think the color blue looks so pretty on all skin and hair types. It’s just a color that I think looks good on EVERYONE!! Of course, I’m a little more bias to blue on myself because I think it’s super flattering and makes my eyes pop! There’s something about that makes blue eyed blondes just stand out. The detailing on this darling, thick turtle neck sweater is perfect. I love the cut and how it fits too! It does have an oversized fit to it, so I suggest sizing down. I’m wearing a xs and typically wear a small. The cool thing about this sweater is that it comes in other colors besides blue. Just another reason why this winter sweater is my favorite!
In other news, these boots are my everything. I first purchased these boots about 4 years ago. I wore them too much that they got real nasty. When I mean I wore them a lot, I would wear them going out (when I was in that stage of life) There were spots on them that were grody. Needless to say I needed a new pair. They were too good I bought them AGAIN!! They come in this brown color that I’m wearing and black. I always had the brown, because I love this color brown. They fit true to size, however they were a tiny bit snug. If that’s concerning I would suggest only sizing up a half size. They go with too much whether that be leggings, jeans, dresses or skirts! It’s a must have classic in your closet.
Life update: It’s been a fun, yet busy January. It’s crazy to think that we are half way through the month already and next week is basically the end of Jan.! I’m not going to lie, I’ve struggled a bit lately. I find myself getting distant with the Lord. I know that’s gutsy to say, but it’s true. Colin and I have been out of town or had a ton going that church or bible study had to get pushed to the side. Looking back on it, that makes me feel horrible, guilty, lost, and unconnected. Yes, those are all strong feelings and feelings that affect a lot of areas in my life. It just goes to show that God really is the only one who needs to be in the for front of you life. He is the only one who’s relationship matters till the end. Yes, relationships matter, but without a strong relationship with the Lord, what is every other relationship? I believe you must be strong with the Lord to be strong in other areas in life. Writing this makes me what to make a change. What’s that change? MAKE IT HAPPEN. Make time for the Lord. Make a sacrifice to focus in on your relationship with the Lord.
It can be harder said then done, I know!!! I’ve been there and done that too. It can happen and when it does it;s crazy how life is different. God is good!!
Have a blessed day y’all.
Love from Texas,
