The holidays are right around the corner. I can’t believe we have two months until Christmas is HERE! It will be here sooner than you know. As a new mom to be, financially planning for Christmas has a whole new meaning. Did you know? The typical family starts purchasing Christmas gifts in October? YES! I know I found that to be super early too, but it makes sense. A family can’t get everything in one month that’s too expensive and crazy. It’s better to start early so you’re not as stressed when Christmas is here. When we start our early gift shopping, we can be in peace during the holiday season. Believe me, it takes a whole new meaning to Christmas. Hint hint: gift guides coming SOON!!! Yippee
Colin and I have already planning our Christmas. I know you’re either laughing at me or starting to freak out too! It’s not all that crazy as it might seem. With a baby on the way, Colin and I are doing our baby staycation in Dallas and spending it just the two of us. I am super excited to take this Christmas season to a different meaning, focusing on time, family and God. I’m sure we will do one gift to each other just because why not?
True Life: Don’t call me a Grinch, but this preggo lady isn’t putting up a tree. I will be putting those simple decorations up tho. Let me tell you, being in the third trimester thinking about putting up and taking down the trees seem miserable. I’ll just go around the DFW taking pictures of other pretty trees!
This darling poncho is from Joules. This brand is amazing and designs great quality pieces. Joules is known for their rainboots, but have other trendy pieces too. I love this reversible poncho because it’s so warm. It’s wool, but not itchy. That’s a win! I’ve styled it with leopard booties and Joules blouse. All items are linked for you to shop.
Stay warm, if it’s cold by you like it is for us in Texas!!
Love from Texas,
